Each of the 89 Italian Cultural Institutes will be exhibiting works by Italian artists of Italian origin or resident or active in the country. The famous Irish writer fell in love with the cinema during his stay in Trieste so he decided to open – with 3 friends from Trieste - the first cinema in Ireland, the Cinema Volta in Dublin.

Alpe Adria Art comes from the wish of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Republic of Slovenia, to bring this exhibition to Brussels.

The exhibition was part of an event organised on the occasion of the opening of a new railway line and a direct air link between Brussels and Trieste, to revitalize the region as a tourist destination.

Organization, communication and setting of the exhibition of a selection of photographs from the stage and backstage of some of the most famous films of Pier Paolo Pasolini such as Accattone, Mamma Roma, Il Vangelo secondo Matteo, La terra vista dalla Luna, La ricotta. The opening was an event that involved the guests, inviting them to discover actively the life and works of the Friulian writer. The competition "Giorni e Nuvole" was launched at the Belgian première at Cinéma Vendome, whose prizes were six trips of a week offered by the Regional Agency for Tourism "In Liguria". Creation  and  organization of an event to recreate the convivial atmosphere of the cafés that characterized Trieste  in the early twentieth century. The halls of the headquarters of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, furnished with bistro tables and illuminated by soft light, were the scene of a collective call for the rediscovery of poetry in Italian, Slovenian, French, English and Triestine. Each invitee brought with them a piece of poetry.A bar was set up which served typical regional sweets, accompanied by coffee, hot chocolate with or without cream and tea.
